The Si'lo is a type of male jinn. The females are known as So'la. These jinn were once people who lived wicked lives filled with evil and wrong doing. After their death they were cursed to live on earth in an evil form. The Si'lo had a body of a human except they had the claws and fangs of a wolf. Travelers and campers traversed the wilderness in terror of being ambushed, slaughtered and devoured by the furious and hungry Si'los and So'las who lurked in the darkness.
