Jinn Wikia

Abgal is a north Arabian tutelary jinni of the desert and the patron of Bedouins and caravan drivers who was honored at Palmyra in southern Syria. Often portrayed as a youth with long hair and mustache, wearing local dress and grasping a lance. Abgal sometimes stands alone, but he is often shown with other gods whose cults flourished in the desert among Arab nomads, including Azizos, Maan, Ashar and Shalman – gods of the plains like himself.
